hey guys, this is my 1st post of my work. Well i have to say this would i have to be my most enjoyable build the kit is tamiya 1/35th, im planning on puttin it in a dio so i havent decked it out in equipment yet but the equipment is all painted and ready to be put on so i decided to show you what ive done so far so here it is
Nice Camo job!!! [8D] [8D] [8D] I can’t wait to see it fully decked out and equipped. What material were the road wheel rims on the D made of? [?] I think they should be darkened up but I’m no expert and the only reason I noticed is trying to paint them to look rubberized on my C about drove me nuts!!! So awesome job!!!
I can’t wait to see more!!
thanks imornery i’ll touch them up b4 i put it in my dio
Nice job! let’s see that dio!
Nice work!
Get some rubber on those road wheels, and you’ll be good to go!
Nice job Panzer…go ahead…
J-Hulk is right…get some rubber on wheels…
Cheers
Very nicely done.
As above, you need to paint in the rubber portions of the road wheels, and a nice dark brown wash will really set them off.
[tup][tup][tup][tup][tup][tup] Great Job,let’s see it when you have all the goodies on!
I hate rubber tires as much as the next guy. I like the nice subtle camo job you did. Good going on your D.
looks great, ive ordered same kit should be here any day now cant wait, hope mine goes and looks as good, it will be my forth model so far
Good job Aaron. The camo is sharp looking, and as mentioned a light wash would most likely bring out more of the detail. This is still a work in process, so I don’t want to be sounding critical, it has all the makings of being a superb build. Thanks for sharing with us, look forward to seeing the diorama. Semper Fi, mike
That is a good looking model. All you need to do to make it great is to put some rubber on the wheels. Please post pictures of the dio when you get it finished.
you could try to superglue the tracks in their correct position-laying on the road wheels-but then that could be al little dangerous…
Very nice build. Looking forward to pics of the Dio.
