Hey all,

I’m a big time aircraft modeler, but occasionally build a car and motorcycle here and there, and was thinking to myself, wouldn’t it be great if companies like revell and/or AMT Ertl came out with a line of kits based on the vehicles seen on Monster Garage and American Chopper![:p][:D][8D] it would be something i would go for in a second, but what do you other modelers think?

I now alot of people have thought about it. What alot of people have been doing is building it themselves, doing their own little monster garage thing. For american chopper, half the thing would be the paint job, but ya that would be cool too. They would just have to get permission from monster garage and stuff.

ERTL makes several OCC American Chopper 1/10 scale diecast motorcycles, plus figures of Paul Sr., Jr, Mikey and Vinnie!

I know these aren’t glue kits, but there doesn’t seem to be any interest from the manufacturers. These could make a good start for customizing your own chopper!

hey Mojo, you mean like what Scale Models by Chris does? also, kitbashing a Monster Garage car wouldnt be THAT hard…for some of them at least. ive done the Rsnchero/Mechanical Bull (i used AMT’s '86 El Camino for trademark reasons), i started the Mustang/Lawn Mower, the PT Cruiser/Wood Chipper, and the Impala/Zamboni. i did these when i was first starting out, and havent even thought about them in awhile. come to think of it…ive still got that Impala in my parts box.[:-,]

Some of those creations are tremendous, what actaully happens to the Monster Garage vehicles after they’re built anyone know?

They park them in a parking lot behind the shop. If you watch they will sometimes go get parts from the old builds, like one they took hydraulic lines and fittings form the VW bug turned swamp boat. That was one of my favorite ones. I might do that, get a vw bug and build it. Only one prob, they had a killer lookin paint job and i cant do nohtin that good.lol
