Harold,

Trumpeter’s US distributor is "Stevens International and they are VERY good about supplying replacement parts. I recently got replacements for my 1:350th Lexington and it just cost me $5.00 for postage and handling. Here is their customer service rep’s email addy:

lauracarney@stevenshobby.com

I received a response from her within 24 hours.

Good Luck

Ray

hope the painting guide with yours is better than the one in the 1/350 scale kit. all but useless

(Oops…my bad. These pages are for the 1/350 scale model. I will look and see if I can find the 1/500 scale model instructions.)

All 28 pages are included at the following review:

Replace the number 71, with consecutive numbers up to 98 and you will see them all.

I actually had this kit myself. It is mady by Mini Hobby Models. I threw it away in favor of Trumpeter’s 1/350 scale Nimitz. More detail on the 1/350 kit… The 1/500 scale kit was, to say the least, worse than any bathtub toy I’ve ever seen.

I agree with Bigb123. I had that kit when it first came out and trashed it. It was nothing more that a toy, reminding me of the old “Mighty Matilda” toy aircraft carrier of my childhood.
