help with Marine Corps 1/35 armor markings (Vietnam era)

Hi all,

have a friend who is starting to get into the hobby, and wanted to help him out finding some 1/35 scale armor markings. He is looking for the M113 yellow numbers / letters that went on most USMC equipment during the Vietnam era. Thanks for all the help

Archer Dry Transfers has a couple USMC yellow stencil marking set that could work. You can see them here.

I’m not a Vet but I’m not sure the USMC used the M113. I have read a lot and do realize that almost anything can happen but the M113 was used primarily by the Army and I have seen some that were used by the Air Force (I think). Now the AMTRAC 7 (not sure of the number off the top of my head) was used mostly by USMC.

You are correct, the USMC did not use the M113 APC. M113 Yellow is the USMC shade of color for the yellow markings on USMC equipment during the Vietnam time frame.
