I know it cant’ be this hard, but I simply cannot figure out how to put the HGW seatbelts together. I’m trying to do the 1/32 P-51D belts and after several attempts, I’m stumped. Somebody take pity on this poor man and help out with some step-by-step directions? Thanks!!

Are they Photo Etch? Is this the Tamiya 1/32 Mustang?
How to put the shoulder straps together: there are three textile pieces and I can’t figure out how they go into the PE buckles.
No, its the HGW textile seatbelts, not the PE belts that came with the kit. They are fabulous, if I can figure out how to put them together!

They have a website. Some links are not working. But I did find this diagram that seems pretty self explanatory. Basically your assembling like a real belt. If the link gets corrupted go to the HGW website, go to the downloads and look at the manuals. The first is for rivets, but the others which just have numbers are for different types of belt.
Rayb24: Thanks, definitely gave me some ideas I will try later tonight. The manuals are for the Luftwaffe belts, but the logic may apply to the US belts as well. Will just have to sit and keep trying. Thanks for the link.

I have these seat belts too, but in 1:48, I find the instructions/diogram on the back confusing as well.
