Help on Scratchbuilding Please

Ok. I am almost done with my Jill and i am going to put it in a beach/coastal airfield closeup dio. I need to know how i would go about making a bomb/torpedo loader type wagon/vehicle. Anyone have any ideas or photes to help me on my way. My Jill is 1/48 scale

to help i must know what a jill is,sorry i don’t know of it. but what era are you going for. the best thing is to do a yahoo search until you come up with the best pic, then i always use small metal rods to getthe handle and axle.then i use wood(balsa) which comes in a multitude of shapes and sizes, that can be manipulated into the shape you need fairly easy, but let me know what era and country it’s from and i’ll do alittle research i kinda like the research so no problem

The Jill is a Japanese B6N2 Carrier Torpedo/Bomber. I’ve looked but i didn’t see any thing so that’s why i’m asking here

i done alittle research and didn’t find a thing but i thought of something that should help you out i remembered that in the movie battle of midway there is a scene of the japs rearming the aircraft before the attack and i can almost say with certainity that they show the cart you need, s o thats the best i can come up with good luck

Ok. I found a pic of what I’m looking for. How would i scale this to 1/48th when i build it?

Your picture is of a British loader? I guess the JNAF used something similiar? In any case, there’s a old kit - Revel’s Aircraft Accessories in 1/48 which includes a US loader. Perhaps you can customize that to your needs. I have a picture of it on my website, here’s a direct link …
