Super glue.
[#ditto] It is the only way to go.
Try getting the mesh cut to the exact size first. THen spray primer onto the frame of the basket and then place the mesh in while its wet. It will stick and after a day or two spray again and it will fix it there. The bond will not be as strong as superglue but it should not be as messy.
Terry.
Try and get the PE alternatives[;)]
If not I use the same method as Terry, work’s a treat.
Thanks for the help on this one. Looks like PE is the ideal way to go but other suggested techniques are certainly good methods to deal with the kit supplied mesh.

It is a good idea to cut the mesh exactly the same size as the frame but these black plastic mesh is a little hard to cut because it moves. What I do is cut them bigger than the frame where I will cement it. I apply cement of the frame and attach the mesh. When dry I trim the excess. Works great for me!
Another really good idea. Thank you. Mike
Actually I use normal plastic cement, it works a lot like the priming idea. It melts the plastic enough to press in the mesh and when it’s dry it stays put very well. And the n you don’t risk getting it clogged with stray super glue.
