Help! Future and Simple Green

As I was setting up, getting ready to apply Future on a model, I discovered we are completely out of Windex and have been for a while. Instead of Windex my wife bough some “Green” (as in environmentally safe) product without ammonia and therefore useless for Future cleanup.

All I have at my disposal is Simple Green (concentrated). According to Swanny’s Models one can combine SG and Future to attain a high gloss finish (will be trying that at a later time).

The questions is: Can it be used for cleaning your brushes/airbrush after using Future?

I’m not familiar with Simple Green, but as another option, denatured alcohol will rip right through Future (and most acrylic paints) on paintbrushes and airbrushes (and your models if you’re not careful).
