A long time RC modeler here that is wanting to start building WWI scale German models in particular. I built a few models as a kid but want to really get serious with it now. I have some basics down but have lots of questions about everything from filler to paint and decal work. Hopefully I can find this info in the forums.

Used to fly R/C in the '70s & '80s but switched to Sailboats after loosing quite a few planes due to some “not so pretty” landings. Also lost a lot of gear that way. Never lost a sailboat though. But, while doing that I also kept building the models for 67 of my 73 years. Lots of fun and enjoyment. If you have questions, just ask. There are a great number of knowledgeable people on here that are ready, willing, and able to help. And, there’s no such thing as a “dumb” question.
