Hello Kitty

I have always wanted to build one of sPzAbt 503’s Tiger II’s. I really like the charging knight on the turret and the overall look of that big kitty cat.

This is the old Tamiya offering with their AM tracks. I used Eduard PE zimm, for the first time, and finished her with my dwindling supply of Tamiya paints. I used Apoxie sculpt for the MG ball zimm as I have never seen anyone make good use of thet PE part in the set.

This wasn’t quite complete when these pics were taken. I have since added the TC, and the jack.

Wow! Nicely done!

Rob

Nice work “G” nice to see a clean one

Nice job! Paint looks particularly good. I like how it looks with minimum weathering. [Y]

G-men always get their man.[t$t]

Not only have you accomplished your goal… you have done so with style and aplomb!

I love your kitty and want to marry it…[:$]

What a Beast (in a good way)… I like it!

Mostly, thanks for sharing

Awesome looking KT G, although I admit, wasnt really sure what to expect after I read the title of the thread!!

That was my point, I think. [;)]

Thanks all, I have been building lately, just not posting as I should.

G

Nice clean work; except the charging knight is the sPzAbt 505?

Cool Cat! I was wanting to comment on it over in the O&E,but I didn’t want to get of topic anymore. Someone was getting annoyed. But it’s a very nice Tiger II. Well Done!

Doug

Ah yes 505, thank you sir!

I have continuously referred to that battalion as 503, and do not know why.

G

Nice work on the KT Wayne! [Y]

MEOW!!

Rounds Complete!!

Nice clean kitty G. I like the camo on her. A wash might help to bring out that zimmerit a little better though. [;)]

I don’t think that’s a kitty! It’s more like a lion. Very nice job. Did have a hard time seeing the zim though, perhaps tigerman’s sugestion or could just be the lighting. Thanks for sharing!

I debated and debated a wash on that zimm. The PE pattern is so fine and to scale, it just doesn’t show up like I wanted.

I’m thinking I’ll go back and touch it up.

G

A dark wash followed by some judiciopus dry brushing will make the Zim and all of the other details pop. Nice build and thanks for the look see!

Pat.

Very nice work G! I like the look of those charging knights, too. [Y]
