Hello from southern Indiana!

Hi everybody. I’m new to the forum but have been reading them for awhile. I’ve been modeling for 18 years now, mostly 1/32 1/48 1/72 aircraft and 1/35 armor projects. I’ve been thinking of delving into some ship’s but haven’t worked up the nerve yet. I’m looking forward to reading even more and talking with folks who know what sprue is!

Welcome to the asylum!! Some strangeness herein. [:P][snWcm]

Welcome. I just spent a week in Leopold, just north of Tell City.

Hey Hoosier! [snWcm] Great to see another Hoosier here in this great forums. You can find me in Armors pretty much.

Welcome aboard. I build mostly 1/48 scale air craft. But have recentlly got into building one ship model and one armour model which i am currently still building both.

Any who welcome to the forums!!!

Thanks all for the welcome! Glad to see another Hoosier here and someone who’s been in our neck of the woods [:)]. I look forward to being able to follow a lot of everyone’s work and might delve into some group builds in time!

18 years? wow, get a fucking life. Crafting gay ass faggot planes is nerdy.

welcome to the fold!

welcome to the forum glad to have you here…

Thanks again all for the welcome. I’ve followed a lot of your projects and look forward to seeing more and sharing some!

I travel down to southern part of Indiana few times a year and I always wondered if there is a good hobby shop for me to check it out. Know there is couple in Louisville area just across the border but I haven’t seen them.

Greetings Hawk… glad to “meet” you, and welcome to the forums.

Some great reads within as well as a wonderful source of information. There are always fine folks willing to lend a hand, foot or otherwise.

Hope to see some of your work too…

Bill

Thanks for the welcome BaBill212! Looking forward to it all!

As far as a good hobby shop here in southern IN, I’m not too far south (Bedford) and have a LHS in Bloomington that I used to frequent. It’s owned by an older couple and doesn’t have a lot in the way of armor kits, but they do have a decent size selection of paints etc. There is a LHS in Bedford, but I haven’t been in there yet so I couldn’t tell ya. Most of the time I head to Hobbytown USA in either Greenwood or Castleton. I’m looking to head to Elizabethtown in KY sometime in the near future and am looking forward to checking out the shop there.

Welcome to the forums!

Thanks for the info! Next time you come to Indy you should visit ‘Big Boys Hobbies’. It is located on Pendleton Pike on the east side. I go there to buy kits because their prices are much cheaper than Hobby town USA and they have huge selections of all kinds. I do shop at Hobbytown USA just for tools and supplies… sometimes kits if they are on sale.

See you in Panzer III GB. Looking forward to this… [Y]
