Long time follower, I’ve been able to pick up many tips from this FSM. I thought I make one of my first posts. I’m in my 60s with a few years to go before I retire. I started building a few models as a kid way back in the 70’s. I took time off to work and have a family.
When my son was young, I introduced him to building model ships as a means of learning some basic skills. We mostly bult the Revell box scale ships, and then one or two to 1/350 scale. After he outgrew it, my young daughter showed some interest, so she built a couple herself.
When Covid hit and I needed something to do. So, I started building them on my own. Well let’s say it turned from a casual hobby into something a little more. I now own something north of fifty 1/350 scale naval all warships, a few repeats. I’ll have to post some pics.
I’m running out of things to build ship wise, so I may need some advice on my next subject matter. Hopefully, something smaller, my shelves are rather full of ships.
Thank you all.

Welcome! “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!” Modeling is a busness.
