Just some quick words to introduce myself.
I’ve been in a out of scale modeling since 94.
My interest is mainly aviation, with a thing for military vehicules (never build one).
I’ve restarted the hobby with my, now more than 15 years project, P-61 build (1/48 Monogram kit rebox 1991) … yes I’m between 50 and 55 years old
Later I’ll share some photos of how it is going in a separate topic.
As a modeler I’m not that gifted (maybe lacking some patience).
There you go … “see” you all soon in a P-61 topic
Thank you
José
Welcome to the Forum Jose. Lots of folks have been ‘comeback kids’ in the hobby. Plenty of resources here - don’t be intimidated about asking questions, even if you feel they’re silly.
It’s nice to see one of the young whippersnappers joining us. We were just joking in another thread that around here somebody in their 60s can qualify as one, so at 52 you’re practically a kid!
I came back to the hobby myself after being away for more than 30 years, so you’re definitely in good company. There are quite a few of us here who rediscovered model building later in life.
And resurrecting a P-61 that’s been waiting 15 years seems like a pretty good way to get started again. Looking forward to seeing the build thread!
