How about that! This exact Michigan ANG bird is on my to-do list, as well. Yours is the only other build I’ve ever seen. You’ve got a nice, clean build there - well done! [tup]
How was the kit? I’ve heard it’s not for the faint-hearted. [%-)]

The Rf-84F is a Heller kit too. !/48 Kit #556. Been in my collection about as long as the Thunderstreak. This particular kit is probably long gone but I’m sure there are re-issues. The Heller kits were a trifle challenging but did build into a nice model when finished. This kit came with markings for France, Belgium, and Norwegian. Still have the decal sheet. The colors I used were Dark Tan 30219, Camo Grey 36622, Dark Green 34079, Medium Green 34102, Humbrol Interior Green #158, Floquil Crystal Cote and Testors Gloss. The Testor Mix was 75% Flat 25% Gloss. Scale Master Decals 48-113 and Bare Metal Decal #2 RF-84F / K.
Nice job Dennis and great photography too. Thx for posting.

Well done! Don’t see these built too often.
Very nice. A close friend of mine is a now retired Colonel who flew these birds for the Mich. ANG. At the time I think he was a Captain. If you have no objection, I’ll forward these pics to him at his Florida home in an email. I know he’d get a kick out of them.

Thanks Dennis.
