Heller 1/100 H.M.S. Victory

I have run in to a major problem with this kit from Heller. I just started this ship and found out that I am missing some very important parts. I open the sealed bag that held the parts to build the canons, when I notice that I had to many of the no.5# trees and not enought of the no.4# trees. Is there anyone that knows how I can get intouch with Heller to get the missing parts,or were or what company I can contact to get these parts.I have just retired for about three years and just got but in to modeling. I have been able to getsome great help thru this forum, so once again I need your help. If you would like to e-mail the imformation , my e-mailis Thanks again for any help you might have.

Welcome to the forum.

First of all, go back to your original post, and delete your email address. People can reach you using the reply button, but it’s not a good idea to put your email out there. No big deal, but…

The major problem that this kit has are the instructions.i don’t remember the details, but I do remember that there was some confusion to put it mildly in following the Heller instructions. I have a set of the Imai instructions which are much much better. I will look at them this evening and see what they show. I’ll send you a “conversation” message using reply, and we can go from there.

Got your PM and sent a reply.

Here’s a site anyone interested in that model must see…

It a great site thanks to your help with reg. could not have done it without your help. I can’t do the idea that you gave me about closing one side of the gun ports, I still do not have enought to do that. will try to get on to theBluejacket site tomorrow. Being retired I now have to look at spending extra cash. I am still not going to give up on building this ship.

Dear Misty

I recently obtained a replacement part for my Heller 1/100 HMS Victory. At www.heller.fr, I identified a part number (i.e., “349”), fret (“Pack 16”), and English-language description (“Stbd Curve”), and offered to reimburse them for the cost of sending me a new one. They never replied to my email. Within a month, however, I received the part from Heller Joustra S.A., Chemin de la Porte, BP 5, 61160 Trun (Orne), FRANCE, tel: (33) 02 33 67 72 58.

Good luck.
