Here are some interior pics of my Hasegawa 1/72 He 111. This is my first model in the small scale, and I think it will be my last. The old eyes just don’t work like they used to. Eduard PE was used…tiny teeny parts!!
Beautiful as usual, I would have thought 1/48 if you didnt’ tell me otherwise. Same problem with the details and eyes, started to have to use a magnify glass for certains things now.
Hey Jerry, nice work!! I’ve been wondering where you got off to, I missed ya, buddy![:)]
At least you’ve been working. And you’ve got more guts than I… I don’t even look at 72 scale stuff! Maybe It’s because I’m a little obsessive compulsive when it comes to displaying my kits… They all gotta be the same size
I’m still here Radmax…just been hanging around some of the other forums lately. I’m almost finished with the Trumpeter 262, except I’m waiting on resin wheels so in the mean time I started this little bomber. Maybe I’ll see you in Columbus Feb?
Ah so that’s what you’re doing… and other forums??? What other forums???
You will most defiantely see me in Columbus… takes me 20 minutes to get there aon a bad day, so I’ll definately bring some stuff down. If I can get a car done there will be one there and a couple aeroplanes… Probably my P-51A for the CBI GB and an F-4U1-D Corsair
How you likin’ that Trumpeter kit, Jerry? I’m getting really antsy to get back to mine. Just waiting on a few supplies I ordered from a hobby shop in Vancouver that I was not able to ship across the border when I moved here from the states (like flammable stuff).
Rudrat…the Trumpeter kit is very nice except every part needs a little tweaking to get a good fit. Also, my copy had some blemishes in the castings that needed sanding out. I’m also replacing the kit wheels with resin…don’t care for the vinyl tires.
Jerry, glad to see your stuff back here in the forums. The He-111 is going to be a stunner. Great stuff.
Oh, and what an amazing looking Columbus Show Winner, err, I mean Me-262, you’ve made there. [bow] I seriously don’t know what your secret is, but if your builds were any more realistic you’d have to purchase jet fuel.
NIIIIIICE!!! Ive just recently switched to the 1/32 scale because I find it easier to detail. Of course I like the 1/48 and 1/72 scales but those get really hard to detail! Im impressed by yalls work!
