Does anyone know where the Revell 1:32 Hawk Missile System can be purchased?
Have you tried E-bay. I am guessing from the one I found its an old OOP kit. This one is in the UK, its the only one I found.
I want to say that the most recent re issue was a limited release, like all the SSP kits are. Do some web searching, and you might get lucky.
A small bunch on ebay-US
Alpha: I saw some over at Amazon last week don"t rember the price It’s a revelle rerelease of the old Renwall model. ACESES5 [snWcm]
Yes, Revell has had the molds for quite some time and released it under their label at least as far back as the 1980’s in their “History Makers” series.
but they also had thier own kit as well…
Too bad that they did not make it with the tracked launcher like “Life Like” models did
Yeah Bish, I tried ebay with no results.
Thank you for your effort Bish.

This is very good information, I was not aware of the different versions and even the difference in scale.
I will give all of this info to my friend. Thanks again stikpusher, I really appreciate it.

The 1/40 range of Revell military kits were created by Thomas Adams. Some of the molds were owned by Revell and Adams owned some of the molds as well. When Revell cancelled their military line, Adams took his molds and made some new ones and created Snap Adams. Those kits were reissued by Life Like, UPC, Snap, etc. Life Like didn’t make anything, they just reboxed other companies’ kits.
That tractor isn’t a launcher though, it just transports the missiles to the launch site. The launcher was not able to transport the missiles while they were mounted originally. The full Hawk battery set up contains a helicopter that was developed to transport a missile. As a kid, I thought the helicopter was armed with the missile!
