hawg weapons

Ijust got back into building an A-10 in 1-48 and was trying to find out what the current weapons stores were. The plane is based on a ragin cajuns from ENDURING FREEDOM.Hope some out there can help.

If you can find a 1/48 scale kitchen sink, it carries everything AND that. [:D]

Best thing I can advise is to hit the AF photo site and do a search for hogs. They ceratinly have photos of them in action:

See if you can find Cuda around here. He works on them and could tell you exactly what a typical loadout would be.

I’m guessing that is the Unit out of Bell Chase, La. just outside of New Orleans. I may have some pictures of one of their A-10’s from an Airshow at the Naval Air Station there. I will not be back home until next week to check. I was in the Army Reserves crewing Huey Medevac’s “Cajun Medevac” out of New Iberia, La. in the late 70’s early 80’s. Might have to do a Cajun aircraft theme. The La Air Guard used to be the “Coonxxx(rear end) Militia” but are the politically correct “Bayou Militia” now days! I think Ft. Polks Medevac Unit is the “Cajun Dustoff”. Yes, definitely going to have to work on a couple Hueys, A-10, F-16, F-4, and F-15 for all those Units. I believe the “Ragin Cajuns” went from A-10 to F-16 and back to A-10’s.

thanks everyone for the info .the link from john p. was great.i see Irate as snap together that explains that arm falling off all the time!!!

Hey Viper;
Well you’re in luck I was deployed with the 706 FS to Bagram last year (or Ragin Cajin’s) and the A-10’s carried 2 Mk 82’s on stations 4 & 8, AGM-64 on station 3, SUU-117 pod on station 2, SUU-? (7 2.75 FF WP Rockets) on staion 10, also there where 2 A-10’s from the 442 FW 303 FS Deployed with the Cajin’s as with 2 A-10’s from 23 FW 74 FS ( these planes where deployed late June 02 to Bagram to help up the air support requirements)
Also if you really want to have a intresting A-10 you could do an 442 FW 303 FS with a LITENING II pod on station 9 with 1 GBU-12 on station 8, Mk 82 on station 4, SUU-117 on station 2, AGM-64 on station 3, SUU-? WP 7 shot pod on station 10 for A-10’s out of Kirkuk AB for Iraqi Freedom because they where the only A-10 unit in the AEF that had the LITENING II modification & function
