I got a few kits for my birthday and Father’s day. Decided to put one together, this is the nova style and there are I think two other versions of this chassis.
Kind of like the utilitarian look of these. Kind of like these are a vw beetle and gundams are the Porsche. They are 1/144 scale and there are also add-ons you can purchase.
The 30 Minute line of kits are really good in my opinion, especially for kit bashing.
Back in 2023, we did a little fun test to see if we could build them in 30 minutes.
I most certainly would have failed the 30-minute test! I just build too slow. Not better, just slow.

They are fun builds with lots of kit-bashing potential. There’s one weapons pack that I bought just for that purpose.
I think they sit right on the edge of model kits and action figures. 10 year-old me would have loved to have a bunch of these guys to do battle with GIJoe.
Probably a super controversial response, but I’m honestly not a big fan haha. I feel like the designs are so uninspired and the holes make it hard to make a finished model that is doesn’t look toyish. I don’t know if that makes sense, but I definitely agree with @Raphael with them being borderline action figures.
I agree with Harry’s sentiments, but that does not mean other people cannot enjoy them. There is more than enough room for everybody in the world of plastic models.
I only wish I could say the same for my stash!

Yep! I totally agree with you @RealG. I hope I didn’t make it seem like they were “less than” in my reply. Didn’t intend to do that haha. I’m sure when I was younger I would’ve been literally all of those building some weird stuff
