This is primarily for the online shoppers who have seen pics of this item but not seen it “on the shelf” at their LHS.

Hasegawa’s “Trypart” Modeling Mesh can be found advertised on quite a number of online suppliers’ sites. Try as I might I had been unable to find the actual dimensions of the sheet and the photos of the item didn’t have anything as a point of comparison.

I took a punt and ordered one, which arrived this morning, so here it is, on a 1cm grid cutting mat as a reference.

The actual mesh area is 85mm x 44mm.

OK you got me, what’s it used for ?

It’s just a piece of “generic” photo-etch mesh for the “do it yourself’ers”. I just thought it would be helpful to show how big a piece you get for your money.

Thanks, be good for armor engine grills.

It looks like it would also be good for grilles in sports cars.
