HASEGAWA 1-72 SCALE LEOPOLD

Here are some photos of my recently completed Leopold in 72nd scale. It is something different for me as I usually build in 1-350. Hope you enjoy.

Very nice Leopold, surfsup, don’t see these built up too often.[tup] However if I can offer up some suggestions, take some overall pics of your build. You took some great pics, but not one is of the entire build just sections.

My other suggestion is that you should give your build a wash to really make it pop. I like that you were puttin’ some rust(pastels?) on the build, but to really make the detail stand out you need a wash. Hope this helps.[:)]

i like the rusting and agree with mg about the wash.

Dude, totally awesome tube man.

Vot you say? You normally vork in 1:350? Zot explains ze railing fettish.

Seriously, looks very good. This makes 3 I have seen in the past 2 years!

Keep up the good work! Don’t glue nothing important where it doesn’t belong!

Thanks for the comments gents. I don’t usually build in this scale, and armour, so it something a little different for me.

ok, so i know this thread is like 5 years old. But, my question is. is this one home made ore out of the box. Reason I’m asking, i got the 1/35 version.

Nice interpretation of this vehicle. It looks like it might’ve looked shortly after capture, when it was put on display. Incidentally, it was the Americans who titled this “Leopold” and painted that name on, just in case you wanted to paint that out or portray it as it looked in service. I did one of these ten years or more ago, and didn’t use that decal; just painted it gray. Nice take on it though!

Looking good Mark! I like it! Now if I could just find mine!
