Hasegawa 1/32 Jug?

Has anyone out there gotten the new Hasegawa P47 in 1/32? What do you think of it?

Thanks to all who reply.

With best regards,

Steve Mack

Got it!, i like it a-lot, the only downside are the gun barrel blast tube’s which are solid and a slight fit problem of the assembled front cowl to the fuselage which is easily fixed. other than that it’s a very nice kit, well detailed in and out[tup]

I sure hope a “Razorback” is in the near future!

Picked mine up this morning. Looks like a beautiful kit in the box, but I haven’t taken anything off the sprues as yet. The solid blast tubes are easy to replace with tubing or drill out the tips. The decal sheet is very impressive for a Hasegawa kit. Some may gripe about the lack of rivet detail, but that doesn’t bother me much.

My LHS had several sitting on the shelf when I swung by there at lunch to get some replacement parts for my Airbrush. I so wanted to walk out of there with one in my hands. Heck, I may go back by there later this week if I end up dreaming about it like I did with the CA 109A kit [(-D]

Scott-

I looked last week at one of my LHS that carries a lot of CA kits to see if they had any '109A’s for you. Sadly, they didn’t. But, now I know for sure!

Some people have them and are building them, I have seen posts on Hyperscale. The one complaint I have heard is the floor is not correct for one of the verisions supplied.

Ya, I’ve read good things about the kit on the other boards, heck even Tom Cleaver was speaking highly of it, and that says something! [:O]

Funny thing about the floor… once the kit is all put together, will anyone even remotely notice the floor? Many times you can’t even see the rudder pedals either, know what I mean? [(-D]

Got mine Saturday a week ago. Really impressed with it. Also got the hollow metal blast tubes that Hasegawa also provided for the kit. I am not interested in either of the decal schemes so will wait to see what Eagle Editions is coming out with in about a month. Looks like a fun build. Heck I might even build one of my Revell kits at the same time and see how they match up.

Cheers,

Ya, those things are extremely rare now, however I managed to get 2 and it only cost me an arm and a leg! [:O] [:I]
