Has anyone ever made their own fictional craft out of spare parts?

I’m in the progress of turning the Back to the future delorean into a jet.
replaced the dash instruments with left over cockpit pieces, Mig-15 verticle stabalizers on the hatch frame, Mitsubishi GTO’s tires for its “landing gear”. Thats as far as I’ve gotten so far

Mate,
There’s a guy on this forum, Eddie Miller, who regularly posts pics of his kitbashes…all sorts of weird and wonderful ideas…we all think he needs treatment…but he seems to have a lot of fun and following his builds is very entertaining.
He builds some real oddball stuff…do a search for his name in the FSM Forum thingy, and it should list a bunch of links to various threads…there’s quite a few to choose from, and they’re pretty cool - some better than others, but they all show a fair degree of imagination.

Someone lookin’ for me?[swg] I’m looking forward to seeing your work. I just got a care package from a friend and it’s got all kinds of Armor bits in it, but I’m kinda at a loss as how to utilize it. Anyway…Kitbashing is my thing. It’s very liberating to just put things together and see how they come out. Here’s a couple of my works.

I recently acquired 4 F-105D kits (the Revellogram kit) from a seller on EBay. Only 1 is complete and I’ll build that as a – gasp – F-105D. The other 3 are missing a few pieces here or there. I’m thinking I’ll build a Star Wars-inspired space fighter or something. When I get some spare time …
