Can you give me your opinion of this kit? I won it for cheap and have some strange color scheme plans for it. Thanks in advance.

Well, only thing I could say about the 1/72 Hasegawa Mig-29 kits: STAY AWAY FROM THEM !!! They are really inaccurate, wrong shape, wrong demensions, bad decals, sofa looking K-36 ejection seat, and cost enough…

You should try the Italeri one, really the best in 1/72 scale. Or the Airfix kit if you could find it…

OH BOY !!! Poor you, just saw you bought it already…
Well with some work my Hasegawa Mig-29 turned out pretty well I think.
The fit is OK, but you should put some time in modifying the shape.
I also bought it cheap (€8) on a modeling show.

Thanks for the input, now I don’t feel so bad about my plans. I just want to put it together to represent a fictional squadron, so I won’t be mauling a top-level kit. Good deal! Thanks folks!

But when you visit it, you should find only one 1/72 Hase. Mig-29, maid by a Turkish guy…

I’ve built one, with a couple in the stash (cheap in Japan!)[:p] I thought it turned out to be a very handsome kit. Maybe not the most accurate, but simple enough to build and looks pretty good when done. Just watch the seem in front of the LEX!![}:)] - Calvin
