It began as a joke, but since there seems to be some actual interest, is anyone up for an actual Half Track Group Build? Given the diversity of kit subjects, from APCs to self-propelled artillery to cargo trucks, there’s a lot of options to choose from.

The Build will begin on March 1 and end on December 31.

The subject must be a half track, any scale, any era.
Subject must have been a real vehicle. Vehicles that only existed as prototypes or mock-ups are fine, but Space Ork Wartrakks aren’t. [;)]
You can build more than one subject if you’re beyond insane so inclined.
No builds from other Group Builds.
Sounds good to me. Now all I have to do is get that new Geramn Flamethrower Half-track that Dragon (?) is coming out with without my parents figuring out I’m getting another model. ( By the way, would anyone be interested in a few airplane models.?I have to clean out the stash before my parents find the new ones)
I’m in but won’t be able to start for a while (late summer at least). I have the Dragon 251/C 3in1, so I’m set for a kit. Just have to decide which version.

Sounds like a great idea to me. I have several half tracks sitting in my stash and I think I could be ready to build one. I’m in two other builds but I don’t mind having a third project going. Just not sure which kit to build. Group badge?
I may join in a couple of weeks, never been a part of a group build but it sounds cool, I have several half tracks in my stash to choose from, I will think about it.
remember for the new dragon 3in1’s you can make an unknown vehicle-such as the elusive pak/engineer vehicle-but i am doing that one right now…so…[^]
just remember they are extremely hard to pick which one you want to build.
