The upper body is 2 1/4 inches across…a little bigger than I expected, all the parts are made of white metal except the aluminum legs and the vacuformed clear windscreen, there is even detail inside the cockpit and the cannon thing sticking out of the front sticks in from the rear of the front section and can be made to be posionable.
The parts are pretty clean…not alot of heavy flash and should polish up nice and easy. ( I like resin better though )
The instructions have only two pictures that do not help much and the text is easy to follow…the kit can be pretty much built by just looking at the pics on the other thread here.
I stuck the three parts together that glues under the upper body halves and the fit is good…the leg assy looks kinda tricky but not impossible.
Not a kit for the beginer in multimedia but WELL WORTH 30.00!! ( shipping included! and thats 3 day USPS priority mail! )
Thanks Papa for the look-see. I should be getting mine in the mail soon. I was expecting a resin kit with metal legs so you ruined the surprise of finding out it it all metal. No problem…[:)] It that vacuform windscreen thin vacuform or will I have to pull out my toy Mattel Vac-U-Form to make a thin clear piece?

My clear copy is not bad at all…not 100% perfect but not bad. The one thing I do not like about white metal is that is almost impossible to make smooth…I think?..its not my area of expertise and I hate working with fillers and putty’s!
After closer examination the top and bottom main body parts are kinda rough…I’m thinking maybe scratch building that and using the legs, joints and everything else…hmmmmmmm…
FYI…There are 35 parts in all.
Still not bad for the money…I have seen alot less for alot more!..just look at Lunar Models or Monsters in Motion!
They would be rough since they most likely were cast in a Latex Molds, done a bit of that during my wargaming days. If you are interested I can let you know how the Molds are made, or you can get the info from Games Workshop.
You will need to sand them down and/or polish them using Brasso and steelwool(or similar).
2 part epoxy glue and putty will do the rest, and you WILL need to prime the parts.
I got 3 Gunze Sangyo Hi-Tech Bike models with cast engines and will need to do the same thing there as well as drill holes into them. [xx(]
Still busy doing the wheels for the first Bike (plenty of spokes to be cut, bend and glued onto the rims and hubs)
