Gundam tour in USA this summer!

I wasn’t sure what forum to post this in, so I’ll try here since it is Gundam related.

I saw the following in my Facebook news feed this morning. Woohoo! It’ll be coming to Hobbytown in West Allis. I can hardly wait! :grinning_face:

Quote from the Facebook post I read this morning:
“The Gundam Base Mobile USA Tour returns this summer, traveling all across the US with a Gundam statue, limited products sales, free GUNPLA workshops, card game trials and more!
More details will be available later on HobbySite! Stay tuned for that!”

Look forward to seeing your report of the event.

WhatIfRebel, do you build Gundam kits? Is this a contest or just a show to highlight Gundam genre?

If i remember correctly, “the Gundam Base” is the primary Gundam store in Japan. They started doing Gundam base tours in the USA to give us a part of the experience of what they have in Japan. Basically it is a mobile store that may have kits not found or released in the states yet. Plus it also helps promote the genre.

I think the pop-up is mostly limited kits, but the store in Japan has a lot of everything

@MR_TOM_SCHRY

I used to build Gundam kits, but that was a long time ago. I don’t right now because they’re so damn expensive and my money is going toward other things. And No, I don’t think this is a contest.
