I’m looking to create the blue and orange of Gulf racing. I’ve googled many different methods, but they usually involved rattle can decanting or some “other company” that produces what you want, such as Humbrol or another non-US one.
I want to create it using Model Master enamels thru my airbrush. Anyone know the Testor model master colors for it?
Another site worth looking at is a conversion site. Airfix say to use Sea Blue and using the following http://www.paint4models.com/ allows you to convert this to Testor’s Light Blue Gloss and give the codes for both Enamel and Acrilic. It appears that the Airfix kit has decals for the orange colour and the separating strip.
I use a lot of the square bottles (I have a forked piece of aluminum hooked to my bench that holds the bottle while I put pliers on the cap when it gets stuck). I cannot tell the difference when airbrushing from the MM. I just find the Model Master line has more colors applicable to modeling.
