GSI Creos Mr. Airbrush Custom Grade PS771 VS IWATA

Has anyone used or can recommend the GSI Creos Mr. airbrush PS 771? It is $150. The nearly identical IWATA airbrush Mircon custom is $600.

Well my understanding is that both airbrushes are built in the same factory, so the quality of both is going to be basically the same. I have not used that specific model but I have used a GSI airbrush and have been very happy with it.

Thank you. Knowing they are built in the same factory makes sense and am glad that you like the brand.

I got GSI Creos - Mr. Procon Boy WA Platinum Airbrush ast year and I have no issues, I generally use my eclipse but I like this one as well. That being said I’ve only used it a handful of times.

I’m looking forward to purchasing mine. It’s on my Amazon wish list. I’ve used the IWATA eclipse CS for 11 years several times a month and it works flawlessly. But it has a 0.30mm needle. I enjoy doing fine small detail work so am looking forward to the 0.18mm needle.

That’s a solid choice—going from the Eclipse CS’s 0.30 mm to a 0.18 mm needle will really open up your fine-detail capabilities.
