Group build idea, SR-71.

Howdy folks.
I’m about to wrap up the current build and have been comtemplating what my next project will be. Another blackbird keeps creeping into my thought process and it’s an itch that just may have to be scratched. For some reason I’ve become enamered with the OXCART series of planes and remain facinated by the plane and it’s mystique.
The last time I built the plane no fewer than about five other people registered comments about wanting to get to building one, whether it be an A-12, SR-71A, D-21 or YF-12A. So I’m gauging interest in a HABU group build. It would allow all scales and all versions of the Habu family and include the M-21 drone.
So give me your thoughts. This would be an excuse to break out those often looked at but returned to the shelf kits that so many people have commented on in the last few years. For those who would likely post that it would depend on the time frame of the build, toss in your thoughts on that too. Nothing is in stone yet but I will admit to the build starting sooner rather than later and running for twelve weeks, tops.
What say you?

I was just looking at the selection of the subject on ScaleHobbyist…I’m definately in. I still have the (Broken and mangled) SR71 in a junk box from when I was younger. It was one of the first models I ever made and I haven’t made one since.

I’m in!

I still would love to build myself a Blackbird, though 12 weeks would be tight for me to complete the build. Also, I have three on the bench right now so the farther out- the better. Just my [2cnts].

I haven’t built a model in over a year for various reasons, but a Blackbird group build just might be the boot up my A _ _ that is needed to get me going again. I would suggest a time span of about 6 to 8 months. I have several of the fairly rare Cutting Edge decal sheets and I need to use up some of them.

Three cheers for the Titanium Wonder Birds,
