Welcome Mike. Looking forward to seeing your work..
Welcome to the forum, Mike! I like your '53 Ford pickup, classic AMT!
I look forward to seeing more of your builds.
Best regards,

Welcome back. I also returned to the hobby after the kids were grown and gone, about 20 year lapse. A lot changed in that time. Air brushing was still in its infancy back then and acrylic paints were almost unheard of. Model Master paints were the standard then, but have gone the way of the DoDo. I’m still mainly an enamel painter, I like the adhesive quality of the paints, but do use acrylics too. I’m mainly an aircraft guy but dabble in real space and naval ships and just recently built my first ever car for my wife’s uncle. Welcome back and like the others have said watch Utube videos, they’re helpful. Most of all enjoy what you do, if you can’t enjoy it, it’ll be hard to keep interest.
Thanks, I use acrylics exclusively at this point. Shop and spray booth are in the house so I am reluctant to spray enamel paint.
