Greetings from Platte City MO!

Just a Gen Xer that has gotten back to this hobby a few years ago. Every model is a learning experience and I am looking forward to learning new skills.

Primary build is aircraft… 1/48th scale mostly. But have some of my favorites in 1/32nd… and the “Big Boys” in 1/72 or 1/144th…

Also like SF models like Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, SpaceBattleship Yamato, Crusher Joe and others.

Built my first 1/35 tank let month. It was work, but a lot of fun!

Looking forward to checking the Forum for advice.

Cheers,

Fabio

Well welcome aboard @Fabio! Looking forward to seeing some of those aircraft, Sci-Fi and that armor build you were talking about. Glad to have you here.

Welcome to the FSM forum and back to scale modeling Fabio. Lots of advice can be found here along with ideas and inspiration. I like your “eclectic” interests in modeling subjects. For your aircraft interests, do you favor a specific time period?(ie WWI,between the wars,WWII, Cold War etc)

Welcome Aboard!

Don’t hesitate to ask questions, lots of knowledgeable folks around here that are willing to share their experiences and expertise!

Glad you made it to the forums. A great group of people here with lots of knowledge and dad jokes.

Welcome, Fabio. I’m also a Gen Xer that primarily builds aircraft (and sci-fi). Looking forward to seeing your work and getting to know you.

Welcome to the best forums on the internet! Looking forward to seeing your work! Which is your favorite aircraft that you have built?

Hey fellow Gen-X-er! Glad you are joining in on the fun! No longer will you be…dancing with yourself. Only Gen-X (i.e William Broad) fans will get that one.

You are a Crusher Joe fan? Excellent!

Welcome @planediveguy ! Looking forward to seeing your builds.

Welcome sir. I grew up in Kansas City and moved to Belton as my kids grew up. Presently retired and living the life around Truman Lake. I too am building 1/48 aircraft and 1/35 armor.

planediveguy, I sure hope that you weren’t near any of that bad weather that went through your area this past weekend.
