Thought I would drop by after creating my account here and introduce myself. My name is Corey, I am 29 years old and have not built a model since I was 11 years old or so. I was laying in bed the other evening and thought to myself that I need a new hobby, I need something to get me away from the video games that is more constructive and then it hit me, I am going to get back into building models again. I remember many afternoons walled up in my bedroom assembling either an airplane or a car and then admiring them when they sat on my shelf next to all the others. Well that is enough reminiscing from me. I will say that I have to start all over, I need everything from a hobby knife to paints to an actual model to build. That is enough talk from me for now, lol, I will see you all around the forums.

Thank you for the warm welcome, I can’t wait to get back into the building of models, now to just decide what I want to build first.
Welcome to the Forums Corey. Glad to have you aboard. There are lots of great guys, and gals, on here that are ready, willing, and able to help you with any questions/problems that you might have. We do like to see pics of your builds. My name is Jim and I am a plasticaholic. I love the smell of plastic in the mourning. My [2cnts]. Start slow and take your time. You’ll find that each one you build will be a little better. Don’t get discouraged if things don’t go right. Just keep at it. I’m 72 and have been building since I was 6. I still make a mess of things once in a while. As long as they look good to you, that’s all that matters. It’s your hobby. Enjoy it.
