Well here we go, back on the merry-go-round again!! Hopefully they won’t come in for a while and my recent buying binge will be a distant memory.
After a fairly pleasant experience with the Cavalier zim on the Elefant (although I admit it was my first go and have nothing to compare it to), it doesn’t seem as scary to me anymore.
Good question, but I’m in no hurry. I still haven’t seen the Tiger I initial at my LHS or the Dragon 251/D 3 in 1 either. They just don’t keep certain kits in and dont have the selection of the big boys.
Dragon’s site is usually a fair indicator of when it is released (within a month of when shown), but they do not keep us updated far enough ahead.

Isn’t that interesting. Dragon’s Jagdpanzer IV A-0 costs about $6 more than the 3 in 1 Tiger I Initial. What gives? The Jagdpanzer is also an updated older kit with new goodies. I hope Dragon can keep their prices in check and not get up there like Tamiya. I imagine it will be inevitable, especially if they do more 3 in 1’s.

I’m sorry to here that friend. My wifey has no room to speak when it comes to buying things she doesn’t need. For whatever reason, she has been giving me a lot of guff lately about a few purchases that I’ve made. I told her I’d even pay for it with my secret stash. She still wasn’t to thrilled, but she did let it go. I mean she has enough shoes to make Imelda Marcos blush. [V]
I just called GM. They are showing “sometime” in March for both the Late 3/1 and the BergeTiger. (Since March is tomorrow, I guess that doesn’t mean a lot!) I got my name on the list for the Berge.
Think a month or more after what they say. Isn’t that how it usually works?
Thats about right so far. From January to late February for the Tiger I Initial. Although it was about 3 months for the Sherman A1.
I think you can pre-order the AFV club Tiger 1 late also, this hobby/illness is getting expensive.
