Hey guys, I went down to Cleveland with my family for Thanksgiving and while I was there I did some shopping. We stopped at this little store called Castle Hobbies. They had a buy 1 get 1 half off sale. I found the Eduard Bf-108 weekend edition for $12 and got a Smer Fairey Swordfish half off. Two kits for $20! Anybody have experience with either kit?
Neither! But ya can’t beat a good deal like that!
I built the Profipack version of the Bf-108 but the weekend edition is the same except without the PE and masks. You’ll find it’s an ouotstanding. Mine took 1st place in Box Stock a couple of years ago in Ft. Worth IPMS contest. There is a build article on the Bf-108 in a recent FSM issue (in the past few months)

I’ve alot of good about that store from only like…2 people, other than that I’ve never heard of it. AND it’s in my neck of the woods, would you recomend that store? Is it big, small etc…Big selection?
Well, it’s an interesting store, not very big. My brother thought it was a dump but it I guess it kinda was. It had a decent selection of new and older kits. We actually stumbled upon it while we went on our hobbyshop “tour” of Cleveland.
Where else did you go? There is a pretty decent one in lakewood on detroit ave called wings hobby, they are one of the only shops that I know of that carry aftermarket accessories and a have a big selection of aftermarket decals for quite a bit of differant subjects. I still consider myself newer to the greater cleveland area so I dont know too many LHS’s but I do know a few. I’m just looking to see if you went to anyplace I may not know. Yeah, Wings is the best. I don’t know how they do it, but they carry a lot of goodies and a wide range of kits and supplies.
You a former clevelander? Just wondering. they have the largest selection of a/m decals I’ve ever seen.
Yeah, we stopped at Wings. It was pretty good. They had a great selection of Osprey books and other books.
