Picked up a Paasche VL double action at Hobby Lobby on clearance for $35. The $8 needles and tips were going for $2, got me a near lifetime supply. They also have the Academy F-35A for $9.99. I bought over $200 in clearance for around $55. Hope this helps someone, y’all take care!

There is a HobbyTown in Sinking Springs about 45 min. in the other direction that is up for sale. The owner is retiring. He used to have a couple of shows every year at the church across the road. I’m planning to take a ride and see what kind of sale items I can pick up there. Anybody else in that area?

Just came back from my HL and noticed the air brushes on sale. I wonder if they are dropping ABs all together.
It’s just Paasche deletes. Haven’t seen if they’re going to bring in another brand or expand the iwata line.

I just saw a post about this topic over at Hyperscale, too. In the poster’s case, he noted that all of the brands except Paasche were on sale.
The discussion there turned to the idea that it’s just a clearance before restocking, and not a close-out of all airbrushes.
The one I went to had Paasche, Iwata and Neo all on clearance. I remember when Michael’s put the Badgers on clearance and got two Anthems for $20 each. Turned around and sold one on Ebay for $50.
My local HL has Iwata AB’s & compressors on clearance but still well out of my price range.
Not Pasche, not Hobby Lobby
Passing through my local Michaels Crafts looking for something else and I turned down the airbrush aisle. Saw that the replacement detail needle & nozzle set for a Badger 105 was marked down to $9.97, normally 30 bucks. My Badger is spitting and spraying off to the side so for 1/3 price I’ll get one. Walk up to the register with my 10 dollar bill in my hand and the checker tells me two dollars! They’re on clearance at an additional 80% off. I go back and clean them out.
Go check your local Michaels too.
