hey detail freak(s)!! i have a quick question. ive seen tanks with grass on the treads, and ive seen a couple of models like that too. how do i get grass on my model’s treads, and make it look realistic? thanks!!

Mix up some mud by taking drywall paste (spackle) or modeling putty and tint them with some paint. Mix these with long and short grass for railroads, and apply to the tracks. You can then paint it to get different dirt and grass tones once dry.
the affor mentioned method is the only way i’m familiar with,if you have the one piece vinyl track try pressing it into the mix and pulling the track back over itsself(just like the real track would roll)keep in mind that unless the ground is very soft not much mud makes it past the ideler wheel however it will seep into the road wheels. good luck,happy modelling
