Well Grandpa is finished and ready to join Herman on the shelf. It was another great kit from Moebius. Great fit made for little seam work. The most difficult thing was having to decide on skin and hair colors and what color to paint the various widgets and gizmos on the control board. The best thing was that these kits have stirred up my old modeling juices again. Before them, I hadn’t built one since 2010.
Anyway, here a few pics. Any questions or advice, please feel free to leave it.

I have always wondered why he is called Grandpa Munster. He is supposed to be Lilly’s (Herman’s wife) father, Herman’s father-in-law isn’t he? So wouldn’t he have a different last name?

Just assumed he was Lilly’s dad since they’re both vampires, though yeah the names don’t make much sense. I never quite got how Herman as the Frankenstein’s Monster and Lilly as a vampress had a son like Eddy who was a werewolf…

Since herman is a Frankenstein’s monster he is made up of many parts. Perhaps the parts that pass along genetics came from a werewolf and the were wolf genes are dominant to vampire genes. Yeah right we are over thinking this. 
Thanks everyone. I think Grandpa is only referred to as Grandpa on the show. I called him Grandpa Munster in the title because people would know who I was talking about. I mean, what if I had titled the thread Grandpa Smith - Finished. Who’d a looked? [:P]
