Here’s my build of the Graf Zeppelin II, LZ-130, the successor to the Hindenburg. This is the 1/720 styrene kit from Revell Germany.
I included a few human figures to give an idea of the enormous size of this airship:

Very nice, Paul.
That’s neato. The humans are so small I don’t see them. Lol. I’m on a phone screen minus my contacts/glasses though.
How big is the model in this scale? Inches wise that is.
Look in the 4th picture down - by the green bush, under the airship’s cupola. The model is just over 1 foot long in this scale.
Beautiful work, the silver doping looks great and I love the scale figures!
Then again I just love airships period. Too bad after hundreds of safe flights by the original Graf Zeppelin they ended up overshadowed by the Hindenburg disaster.
I’ve actually been eyeing that kit since I have some 1/700 PE people that would go quite nicely with it.
Nice build and presentation.
It seems to me I built one of those many, many years ago.It was VACU-FORMED and to my seemingly novice eyes a monster in,both size and way to build. I got it built though ,and then appreciated how monstrous these things were.Even back then ,the thing measured over eighteen inches long ! I THINK ! Anyway, nice build. TANKER-builder
