What is a good site that is based in the U.S. that you can get German railcars for about $20 or so dollars?

They never have them on ebay. And greatmodels has them but you have to wait for 3 weeks or up to 6 months. Does anyone know where i can get them for a resonible price?
What exactly do you mean by railcars?
I think he means flat cars to haul tanks in 1/48 or 0 gauge check with railroad model shops, they might have or order one for you. not sure how much.
Is there any way I can take o gauge chasis and build ontop of that to make a 1/35 scale train car.
the scale would be way off, like having a 1/48 and a 1/35 tank in the same diorama
“I” scale is 1/32.
Save your money and buy a 1/35th scale DML/Dragon #6069 type SSy kit, if you can still find one. Forget model RR stuff, it’s always going to more expensive then static model kits would ever be…and still be out of scale.
Just in case you are wondering, nothing heavier than a Panther should be found on a type SSy flatcar, (55 ton limit). You won’t have much luck finding a SSyS for anything less than a monthly car payment…
