Glycerine for Preserving plants

Hey guys i tried using the 1:1 ratio of glycerin and water to “test” preserving some plants(i.e. leaves, grass, etc…) i seperated them into two containers, one was sprayed on with the glycerine nd water, the other untreated. i noticed after two days that the treated plants had sort of dew drops of glycerine… the leaves were also kind of wrinkled… is this normal? should i just be patient and wait for it to dry? thanks for any input you might share…[:)]

Where did you find your glycerin? My wife has been looking for some for weeks, to do the same project.

Just try your local drugstore.it comes in bottles.Apollo was the brand for mine. it was actually under the medicines for Laxatives… try it out

Sounds like maybe you got the foliage too wet . Should be dry by now.
