Glue Tips

Do they really work? I’m talking about the MM plastic tips that attach to the end of a regular tube of glue. I’d think they would clog up real easily but was curious if they work good or not.

i only used them a few times because mine kept drying out. i saw now use for them.

Try some Tenax 7R and you’ll never go back to regular glue again [:)]

To answer your question I tried some many years ago, or something similar anyway, and they did clog up as you suspected.

I have had the same problem. They are nice in the beginning but when you remove them to recap the glue you might as well throw them away. They are tough to clean. I go along with the liquid glue like Tenax.

Nice to see another Central Fl. person on the form. [swg]

I have never had the slightest luck using those tips from MM or the ones that come with the glue. Certainly not with the tubing type. However, hang on to that fine plastic tubing. It’s great for detailing. But as for the tips, they word once and then I find they are worthless. Like using plastic hypodermics to apply glue. Great in theory, worthless in application.
