Gloss coating white

I’m building Tamiya’s F4U-1A corsair, it has been painted with MM acrylics, and is ready for gloss and decals. My usual method of gloss coating is Testors Gloss Coat. Im afraid that when I spray the gloss coat on the bottom of the plane, it will turn the white yellow. Is there a way to get around this? or should I just go find another gloss coat? My only experience is with Testors gloss, and anything else will be new to me…

By the way, the Testors is out of the can, in the garage. Right now I’m unable to airbrush anything that isn’t an acrylic inside the house right now…I also have a bottle of Future laying around, but have had little luck, and it’s never consistant.

How about using gloss or semi gloss white paint on your lower surface? This will skip the need for a gloss coat.

Well, I probably should have though about the before doing that, because gloss white is an easy enough paint to find…But the flat white is already on the aircraft.

Long time ago I used to have problems with glosscoat sometimes turning white. This has not happened in years. I assume they made some changes in the composition or something, but the last ten years stuff I coat keeps its color fine.
