Anyone have any ideas on where to get a glass cabinet, cheap. I was wondering if stores ever sell old ones. I would love to have a cabinet in my basement that looks good, glass so I can put things in it. Anybody have anything like this? Any ideas where to get one?
Look for a store going out of business. If they are selling all of the fixtures, cases would be included.
I’m building my own. But estate sales, used furniture places, auction houses, often have old curio cabinets or museum tables that are pretty cheap. Depending on how much you are willing to spend, contact National Store Supply, they sell display fixtures and cabinets for commercial use that I have seen starting at $250. They may not be pretty but you can spruce them up or paint over the finish for something more suited for your decor.
