The one flight video is 29MB, but WOW!! Crank up the sound, sit back and enjoy the video – it’s pretty amazing watching that thing fly. [:0][8D]
I like the one comment made in that thread, "Now wouldn’t that instill a little Shock & Awe in the neighbors… ". LOL!! [:D]

thats cool dave , i saw it on the aircraft forum about a month ago , but still worth a second visit , lee to biuld that in the uk you have to have permission from the CCA, any R/C aircraft over 20 kilo’s , if it has jet engines you need to have a liscence to fly it

Another reference to this project described it as “a 1/7 scale Boeing B52
bomber, measuring 26’ wingspan, powered by eight gas turbine engines”.

Incredible!! Bet he gets some complaints about the noise once those 8 are all lit up though!!!
In the US, there is no licensing. If the pilot belongs to the AMA, then he needs to hold a Turbine Waiver in order to be covered under the insurance.
All I am thinking of is that it must take one huge second mortgage to build something like that. I thinking in the ballpark of $50 to $60K.
