GIANT 1/10 M88A1/ Bergepanzer, HELP!!!!!!!!!

I’m sure you have all read the Question and Answer section of past FSMs right? Well, a couple months ago, I (Anthony Wan) had a question in there about building a 1/16 or larger M88 Recovery Vehicle from the AFV Club 1/35 kit. Well, that’s not working too well. I can’t seem to find a place to start. I have a basic idea of what I want in mind, but don’t know how best to approach the project. Here’s what I want the finished product to look like.

Click on this link, it’s a German website, so don’t expect to be able to read it.

http://www.rk-modellbau.de/

Now, scroll down the left sid links bar to the “modelle” button.

Scroll down the new page to the one that says “Bergepanzer 2 “Büffel” in 1:16”

Now, enjoy the pretty pictures and then tell me how I’, supposed to go about building something like that.

I want to have a moving dozer blade, and crane arm. Some working lights, and suspension. That’s basically all…unless…I could put a full interior in there…nah! maybe later, first the ACTUAL VEHICLE!!

I have no experience whatsoever in large scale R/C vehicles, only a couple store-bought kits.

While on that website, look in the “Galerie” There’s a lot of what looks to be R/C armored vehicle “dioramas” They have actual mud, sand and water set up in a large “Super-diorama”. All of those checkpoint gates, garage lights work!!! Check out all that detail!!!

I wish I could offer help, but unfortunately, there is no way to go about this except with some hard work.
For example, I have a 1/48 Patriot missle system that I will be using as a ‘template’ for a 1/35 build (eventually), and what you will need to do is take the kit parts if you wish, use them as a template, scale up to desired size, and scratchbuild. Lots and lots and lots of scratchbuilding and even more patience. No easier way than that I’m afraid.
