getting rid of flash lines?

Hey everyone, I need help with an area of my model I am working on and I hope you all can help me. I am working on a Hasegawa 1/72 F/A-18F “Super bug” and I am having a hard time removing those flash lines of the landing gear and other tight areas without messing up the surronding areas. What should I do? Thanks, Herbie Meier

Lighlty scrape an Xacto blade the length of the part. Then take a Scotch-Brite green scouring pad and lighly buff. Perfect every time.

Take a #11 X-Acto blade and gently scrape the line off, rotatiing the blade around the circumferance of the part so as to not create a flat spot. Touch up with some sandpaper and apply a coat of flat white for primer.

I prefer to use the #10 blade for the task, but I agree with the other members on the technique.
