I’ma U-Boat builder as well. So please elaborate on model info - noting the VII boat aside the IX please. Paints, techniques, washes, etc. Also, Not sure whats up with your website but it wants to install something - not ever a good idea!
Toom needs to spend more time learning about flags or just leave them off the models he builds for you, MM. These are in the correct position but need to have the edges trimmed.
Hokey - thanks for your kind words! Sorry I didn’t mention about the type VIIC/41, but it’s also from Flagman. I have dozens of 1:350 submarines still unbuilt. Paints used are industrial paints, not hobby paints. Techniques and washes are hard to relay because the builder don’t write English. I think the something you think my website wants to install is the Java applet, right?. If so, it’s not my website but your browser which doesn’t support Java applet, ask you whether you want to install it. I use Java applet to show sample images (640x427 pixels) of all models in that page one each at the top of the page . If you don’t install Java, you won’t see those images in slide-show mode. But all other images you can see.
subfixer - the flag is so tiny. I think trimming is near impossible.
Im not sure … but if thats U-123 the edilweiss (not sure if I spelled that right ) should only be on the port side of the conning tower.
later in the war she was taken over by another captain who added his frog insignia to the starbord side.
A cool set of U- boots to be sure !!
