Comments and suggestions are welcome!

Aah consistency. There is nothing like consistency. And this model has nothing like it.

Why does your builder go to great pains to fabricate and install railings along the whole length of the deck and puts them where there should be none (bow & stern)? Then he leaves the big old honkin’ injected plastic picket fence posts around the wintergarten?

I built Nichimo’s IXC a few years ago. I enjoyed the build but I wish I had PE parts to work with.

I like the paint job BTW.

I am biting my tongue.

Thanks for all feedbacks!

EdGrune, I bought this kit second-handed, partly-built, with no instruction sheets. My builder had to use a lot of imagination and some information from the Net. But I don’t know where he got the idea of those excess railings. As for the picket fence around the wintergarten, I understand that it’s hard to delete and replace.

Dave, thanks for your kind comments on the paint job. The PE parts used here are generic 1:200 railings made locally. I believe there are many companies offering the same thing. You may use it with your future ship project. These days, detail up parts are a must. Even 1:700 scale ships have them, so larger scale ships can’t do without.

subfixer, do you have something to say? If so, speak out loud. Also any comments on the I-400?

I’ll tell you why I am biting my tongue, Because unless it is praise for your submission, then you don’t want to hear anything else. You don’t care about constructive criticism so I am not going to offer it. It’s as simple as that.

This is the third or fourth time that I read the same comments from you, they’re repetitive. I thought you had some other things to say, but never mind that you didn’t.

I felt I should post the following: lol.

(I’m not trying to instigate anything either, so don’t bring it to me.)

It’s two hoots for dive and three for collision, right? I’m sounding the collision alarm on this one. Or maybe I will join the ranks of those too apathetic to respond goes back to pondering his empty coffee cup

just stumbled on this, funny! I thought we were older than that…
