German trainer

Here is my first go at a full resin kit. Not much detail with this one. It was not as hard as I was exspecting. I have added the windscreen and tail skid to her since this pic was taken.

Which plane is that? And what manufacturer, also? It seems really familier, but I just can’t place it.

Nice work, though! I’ve always wanted to try a resin kit, but with how much money I’m spending right now compared to what I’m making, it seems that I won’t be going resin for a LONG time.

Very nice - the model wouldn’t be of a Klemm would it?

I like it, first rate build! What kit and what model is that?

I’m pretty sure it’s a Klemm 35, nice to see a trainer built.

Looks good from here Thad. Thanks for sharing.

Regards, Rick

Looks nice. I think I almost bought that kit from Squadron…What brand and model is it? Looks to me like a Bucker BU-181, which was a German Trainer. I’d love to see some manufacturer make a kit of a BU-131 Jungmeister.

Heller did the Jungmiester in 1/72 - neat little kit (and I do mean little). They’re a little hard to find and rigging is a bear but the results are worth the trouble of finding one.

I was given this kit in a bag, so I dont know who’s it is. I do know it was discontinued. I think Jonh and Quincy are right about manufacture.

Thanks for the comments, I did try to rescribe some of the detail and I think I went a little deep in some place’s.

Planet made the Jungmeister in 1/32 resin, and it is pretty nice. Kit No. 085, don’t know why I haven’t built it yet.

Planet made a 1/32 Bu-133? I’ve got to look for that…Is it still in production?

It is still on the Planet web site, but it’s not listed at Squadron. Sentai and Stevens may be sources, or from Planet direct.

I’ll be getting that. Yea, I just looked at Squadron, and, sadly they didn’t have it…
